Do any of the following
describe a child in your life?

Do they have issues with letters and letter sounds?

Do they have difficulty reading and do they avoid reading at all costs?

Do they have difficulty spelling?

Did someone in your family (related to you or your child) have issues learning how to read when they were younger?

Have you heard from teachers that you just haven’t read enough to your child despite reading to your child regularly?

Do they have trouble saying the months of the year or days of the weeks in order?

Do they read a word on one page, but are incapable of recognizing the same word on the next page?

Do they have difficulty learning sight words and did flashcards not help?

Is homework harder than it should be?

Does your child believe they aren’t smart because they struggle in school?

If you answered yes to many of these questions, you're in the right place and this course is for you!

Did you know dyslexia affects up to 20% of students yet schools identify only 4%?
(Dr. Sally Shaywitz, Yale Center for Dyslexia & Creativity)

If you are a parent of a struggling reader I urge you to enroll in this course to learn more about the most common reason children struggle to read.

Why this course?

If you are new to the world of children and adults who struggle to read, it’s important that you know many people who struggle to read and spell could be dyslexic. In fact, research estimates 1 in 5 people have dyslexia – that’s 20%! It's also important you know it has nothing to do with intelligence. Dyslexic children and adults are just as bright as their peers.

You may have heard of dyslexia, but you don't know much about it. As a parent of a struggling reader who is dyslexic, I created this course for you! I thought about all the information I wish had been available to me when I was trying to figure out why my child was struggling, and I put it in this course to help other families and children.

If your child is experiencing trouble reading and if someone in your life struggled to read as a child or even an adult, I urge you to trust your gut and buy this course to learn more.

Hi! I'm Meghan and I'm a parent of two children with dyslexia.

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's in Student Development, and I'm a specialized tutor who uses the Barton Reading and Spelling program. I was completely lost when we found out my oldest child has dyslexia.

I share this because I now know I'm not alone. Many parents who have struggling readers feel the same way -- confused, lost, hopeless, and desperate to find any resource to help their child.

I created this course as a way to ensure no parent has to go through what we went through. Every child deserves to learn how to read and every parent deserves to feel empowered and supported through the process.
